POLICY
4120 |
|
PERSONNEL 4120 Wearing of Photo Identification Badges Beginning March 1, 1990, all employees not regularly assigned to a single school will wear a photo identification badge when working in a school building. The identification badge will be worn in a place that will be visible at all times. Teachers who are normally assigned to several buildings (i.e. psychologists; social workers; music, art and physical education teachers), and therefore would be immediately recognized will be exempt from the policy. In addition, all visitors to schools will report to the school office; and, once admitted to the school, will be issued a visitor's ID which will be worn while in the building. The purpose of this policy is to better ensure both the safety of all our students and staff, and the security of our buildings and personal property. Adopted:
